Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen

When: Sun., Oct. 18, 5 p.m. 2015
Price: free
IBMA winners Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen mesh impressive chops with inventive takes on acoustic music. “We play nontraditional music traditionally, and we play traditional music nontraditionally,” Solivan told CMT last year while speaking about his band’s Cold Spell. A few weeks ago, Solivan and company were on Friday’s bill as part of a pricey World of Bluegrass ticket. See a full set gratis as they close the Midtown Bluegrass Series, preceded by a youth jam facilitated by Lynda and Jamie Dawson of Kickin Grass. —Spencer Griffith
