Film:Acoustic: 12 Monkeys

When: Mon., June 22, 7 p.m. 2015
Price: $15
Will Butler once told Pitchfork that Terry Gilliam’s 12 Monkeys was a visual touchstone when Arcade Fire, the band in which Butler plays multiple instruments, was making Scenes from The Suburbs, a half-hour dystopian film inspired by Arcade Fire’s sprawling The Suburbs. Butler talks about the film tonight—maybe it had some influence on Policy, his very fun 2015 solo record—with Modern School of Film founder Robert Milazzo. Expect some songs. —Patrick Wall
