The paintings and collages in David McConnell's Frontier Thesis explore American history and immigrant culture. In researching them, McConnell learned how to preserve foods via fermentation. At this unique artist's talk and workshop, he demonstrates the ancient, natural preservation process. Mead, hard cider, Chinese rice beer and ginger beer will cleanse the palate for probiotic foods.
