Re: “Cat Walks

Great rescue to visit and stand 4-5 feet away from lions, tigers, and caracals (oh my!). Very large acreage and beautiful animals that have been saved from terrible situations. Well worth the cost and extra contribution if able. They do require reservations and bill you once you get there. Getting there and parking are no problem. I will definitely go for another visit soon.

Re: “Crowdfunding could change the way music gets made

My band is currently trying to figure the costs of funding our own tour and it seems like site like Kickstarter might be a good "start" if you will, but I guess I am being a skeptic wondering how and why would people willingly give us money to do this, even if they love our song? Im wondering those who have tried these sites, who do they reach out to? Do they get money just by being on Kickstarter, or do they reach out to friends/social networking so they can share and help out? Just wondering what the process is, seems to work but what work goes into it?
