Faye Driscoll

When: June 23-25, 8 p.m. 2013
Price: $25

Identity is messy. The work you do to establish your unique identity is necessarily within the context of how others see you. Navigating that territory sometimes seems like a dance. Choreographer and dancer Faye Driscoll expresses this bind with humor and intensity in You're Me, an evening-length duet with American Dance Festival faculty member Jesse Zarritt. Driscoll plays upon both senses of the word "trying"—the effort to define oneself, as well as the difficulty of that incessant attempt. —Chris Vitiello
