Eternal Summers, SOON

When: Wed., June 10, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $7
To date, Virginia’s Eternal Summers have seemed a totally likable if not terribly distinctive indie-pop band. Their clouds of shoegaze feedback and wisps of spring-breeze vocals land within established genre boundaries. Their latest record, Gold and Stone, is a little bigger and brighter in a way that’s also fairly expected for a band in mid-career. But none of that is especially damning, as satisfaction is not always synonymous with surprise. —Jeff Klingman
