Erie Choir, Lud

When: Fri., Sept. 16, 8:30 p.m. 2016
Price: $7
Erie Choir and Lud are venerable Triangle indie rock institutions. Erie Choir’s ranks have shifted around frontman Eric Roehrig and his sauntering pop songs, which touch on the spark and snap of Elvis Costello and the crunchy jangle of Archers of Loaf. Lud has been running sporadically for more than two decades, its rangy rock touching on a little bit of everything: dissonant Kiwi pop, scorching Krautrock, strangely psychedelic Americana. —Patrick Wall
