Enthroned, Destroyer 666, Pathology, Estuary, Mysteriarch, Occultist, Faith in Ashes

When: Fri., Aug. 6, 7 p.m. 2010
Price: $15

Invading forces Enthroned (Belgium) and Destroyer 666 (Australia) unload like a carpet bomb. The Belgians' fierce (and fiercely traditional) black metal is unrelenting, with bitter chords that ebb and flow like waves of infantrymen. The Aussies explode with similarly blinding force, dropping Slayer's warlike thrash into their extreme metal melee. Tour add-ons Pathology bring gore and growls la Cannibal Corpse, while Estuary imagines Exodus led by strangled growls. Mysteriarch, Occultist and Faith In Ashes round out the seven-band bill. —Bryan Reed
