Empire, Static is a City, Rachel Hirsh, Wand Carver, Accident Prone

When: Fri., Sept. 26, 9:30 p.m. 2014
A strange bill: Local post-hardcore headliners Empire and Static is a City would have been right at home at The Brewery, while Virginia opener Wandcarver makes wonky psychedelic noise, like a lo-fi Danny Elfman scoring an Adult Swim show. Rachel Hirsh of I Was Totally Destroying It plays what she says will be one of her final solo sets. —Corbie Hill
