PSI THEATRE—Kristi Vincent Johnson got her proof of concept when a standing-room-only crowd showed up for Triangle Dance Project's first contemporary dance showcase last October. One year later, a panel of dance professionals from Texas, Alabama, Washington and Raleigh have selected a sextet from a group of 23 emerging and unknown regional choreographers for this year's forum. Returning choreographers Kristin Taylor and Alexandra Joye Warren join high-profile regional creators Shaleigh Comerford and Anjanée N. Bell in a one-night stand on the PSI stage. Then we'll meet the wild cards—spiritual dance-maker Jaylun Moore, from Fuquay-Varina, and theatrical choreographer Arlynn Zachary, from Charlotte. 8 p.m., $5–$8, 120 Morris St., Durham, 919-560-2787, www.triangledanceproject.org. —Byron Woods
