Re: “The historic 2008 election—without John Edwards

I know, Cherubim, you keep quoting things trashing her. Trashing her is sort of beside the point. John Edwards did this. I keep asking: If she's so awful, why did he have sex with her and father a child with her?

He makes bad choices and we all know it. It was unwise and selfish, in an election year, to be such a liar.

Re: “The historic 2008 election—without John Edwards

If she's such a wh*re, why did he keep her by his side on the campaign, have a long affair with her and sire a child by her?

I appreciate that you are smearing her, and I appreciate that you hate her, but doesn't John Edwards have a little bit of blame in this? Honestly?

Most of America thinks he does. When people immediately blame her, it makes me laugh. If she's so terrible, why'd he have sex with her for so long?

It doesn't make an affair right if the woman was a wh*re, and it doesn't make it right if she's a nice girl. He knew he was married and he cheated and then lied about it. The shame and blame are his.

Yeah, or that she knows, as anyone with half a brain does by now, the father is the very married/now disgraced John Edwards.

Re: “The historic 2008 election—without John Edwards

In the ABC interview, Edwards said he met with Hunter so the public wouldn't know what he had done. He also said he told his wife nothing was resolved and he didn't agree to pay any money. Those comments make it clear Hunter was pressuring him for money and he wouldn't provide any. So what was she blackmailing him with and why was she pressuring him for money when she already hit the lottery with Fred Baron's support. If Edwards knew about those payments, why would he even discuss it? Um, because he was not truthful? Those comments actually are just him pretending he's being blackmailed. He met with her because he was seeing her. Plain and simple. Everyone can see that. Her friends and family went on tv and every last one told us he was still lying, that he just got caught in adultery and blamed it all on the girl by smearing her and hinting she was at fault. To pretend he was being blackmailed is just the worst kind of coweardly lie to his supporters, his wife, his kid and his girlfriend. Wait, no, actually the worst lie is the one he told his wife to cheat in the first place. But the second worst is to pretend he was forced to see her instead of admitting he KEPT seeing her. He's gross. I'm glad he's gone. Bad choices.
