Elderbery Festival

When: Sat., Aug. 22, 12 p.m.-2 a.m. 2015
Price: free
Because there apparently aren’t enough festivals in the summer, Carrboro is hosting the Elderberry Festival this weekend. Stretched between stages at The Station at Southern Rail, Steel String Brewery and 2nd Wind, the free all-day festival offers a host of regular area performers. Dex Romweber is the most recognizable name on the bill, though you’ve maybe seen names like Gasoline Stove, The Tan and Sober Gentlemen, Tea Cup Gin and Too Much Fun on other bar acts around town. Maybe you can get one of them to tell you about the elderberry, too. —Allison Hussey
