Edmund Morris

When: Thu., Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m. 2010

Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner Edmund Morris has written perhaps the definitive look at U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, with not one but three biographies. His awards came for the first volume, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, in 1980, which he followed up with Theodore Rex in 2001. Now he's finally completed the trilogy with Colonel Roosevelt, one of the nonfiction events of the fall. Three decades in the making, the series chronicles the life and times of one of the most extraordinary men in American political history. Here's your opportunity to talk one-on-one with Morris, who's also written biographies of Beethoven and Ronald Reagan. Morris will read from and sign copies of Colonel Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. —Zack Smith
