Re: “Dumping on New Hill

As a resident of New Hill. I have had this idea for some time now and I think that it is time to share it. I think that Cary needs to consider donating its mid town oasis, Bond Park, for this sewage plant. True Bond Park is a great place to visit for the families of Cary, but think of the advantages of this 300 plus acreage location being so close to the very source of the sewage that would need to be treated. Morrisville is much closer to this location, Apex is too. The distance that the sewage would need to be pumped would be so much closer to the treatment plant. I am sure New Hill residents wouldn't mind having the Treated Water pumped through their community as it made its way to the Cape Fear River. We would also be happy to replace the ball fields and walking trails with a fine park in New Hill. Think of the savings if such a centrally located plant were to be built in the heart of the town that would supply the sewage .
