Durham’s Mayoral Candidates Have Raised Lots of Money. How Much Has Come from Outside City Limits?

This year’s Durham mayoral race is shaping up to be one of the city’s most expensive yet. Here we take a look at the three major candidates’ donations and what percentage of them have come from Durham. These totals, which run through August 29, don’t include donors who have given $50 or less in the election cycle. Individual contributions in North Carolina are limited to $5,200.
