Dracula's Daughter

  • Demon Dolls Photography

Starting at the strike of midnight on the second Friday of every month, Dracula's Daughter, a rarely publicized art/dance/DJ event, takes place at Ringside in Durham. As part of the evening, a group of dancers that sometimes goes by the name 'the reform school' puts on a renegade performance art piece. In this photo, the dancers are part of a living painting, moving through a three-dimensional canvas.
pro-gen-s&s, the next piece, will happen on Friday, April 14, with four or five movement artists, knives, real live onions, the stripping away of skirts and a soundscape by Raleigh artist Enc0der.
