Re: “Why Aqua NC customers are furious about their service

I to am under the grip of aqua nc water and sewer system! I'm a senior and I live alone in a DWMobile home, when I bought it I was told the water/sewer system was going to be taken over by the city, and true the city of Archdale did run some sewer lines down through here and they said they only used parts of our property that they had rights to, which would have been ok, but they ran the lines not for our development which is mostly trailers but individually own, but the lines were so they could provide another development of richer homes city water. Ie been here over 17 yrs now and the cost for aqua went from $7.38 per month for both water and sewer to over $100 if I use any water at all, funny thing I woke up partically one day my birthday to be exact in 2010 and I was put in Baptist Hosp. for emergency surgery long story short I wasn't home for nearly 2 months and yep my bill still was over $90.00 per each month with no usage at all! They don't care , maybe they need to get out of the state of NC completely, and I don't mind paying taxes it never was a problem, I already do that! The city is here even if Archdale is not that large, but we don't have any benefits and I've been waiting a long time for them to get Aqua out of here! Really they need to e put out of business, pretty bad when you pay so much of your income to them, yet you have to buy bottled water to drink! Mr. Roberts why don't you ck the areas you're going up on the bills yet poorer quality of service! Oh by the way you about 4 yrs ago you went up on our sewer to replace and fix lines etc., but you've done nothing! It's time that you quit getting this excess for sewer and sticking it in your pockets and gave it bk to the people you took it from!
