If we’re talking brass tacks, it scarcely altered the intricate, narcotized krautgaze formula that his band DIIV pioneered on 2012’s Oshin. Overlooking that, ITIA is a great record that, besides being a bit overlong, contains several of the band’s greatest songs and holds immense promise for future releases.
