Re: “Aqua North Carolina found a legal way to raise its rates—at customers' expense

I live in Raleigh and we just moved in to our first home a little single wide trailer. We called up aqua and the customer service was horrible. The women who answered barely spoke English and the ones that did were rude and lying to us. Our first water bill shocked the hell out of me when I saw 100+ dollar bill. I was expecting maybe 40 dollars tops. Then they would not send us a bill for three months. They kept saying there was an error in very Bill they tried to send and they had to re-read the meter. There is only two of us and one of us is gone most of the day. There is no way we use 34000 gallons of water in three months. We can't afford a 200 dollar water bill each month when we don't use that much. That's more then our electric bill. If we could afford this then we wouldn't be living in a trailer.
