Re: “Eleven Things Eddie Vedder Is Probably Doing Today

Not a Pearl Jam fan at all but congratulations on a great writeup that comes off as extremely bitter and unfunny. You're parodying a person who aligns with your views, sure it'd be more beneficial to donate the concert earnings to an organization, but no need to punish him for raising awareness of this issue.

Re: “Live Nation will not tell the city of Raleigh how Walnut Creek performed in 2015—or at least they wouldn't

Once again, a headlining IndyWeek piece that seems to reflect much worse on the author than the intended target. I can absolutely see where you're coming from, and yes, there would be some merit regarding the publication of the numbers for each event held at Walnut Creek, but this seems like something that isn't even remotely close to as big of a problem as the article makes it out to be. A couple representatives of a business don't respond to a few messages and that suddenly means something is amok and needs to be "uncovered"?

It's easy to pick on big companies like LiveNation, so I fail to see a reason for an article like this to continue bashing an already disliked organization that, as far as I can gauge from this article, didn't respond to your emails and have ultimately performed a heinous crime because of it. As a longtime fan of IndyWeek it's disappointing seeing it fall into the click-bait caliber of "journalism".

Re: “We made Kid Rock's manager (publicist?) mad, and now he won't respond to our emails

I can find humor in this, but does anybody else think this seems unjournalistic? Publishing other people's emails without their consent is pretty rude. The negative review was written, but did you really think that wasn't enough? It's unfortunate you have to deal with his stubborn manager, but what happened to being the "bigger man" in the scenario? Not a Kid Rock fan in the slightest but these tabloid-esque pieces belong on Gawker. Very disappointed, Grayson.
