A four star rating for "The Pillowman"? Pleeeze. I saw the play last night with my girlfriend and we both thought it was the worst thing we had ever seen in a theater. Well, that was my opinion and hers was not much better. Now, to be clear, the acting is good. My issue is not with the actors or with the production but with the play itself. It's a shame talented actors and production people had their abilities wasted on this twisted, largely incomprehensible, adolescent drivel. At the performance last night, a number of people walked out after the first act. I only wish we had done so too.
