Cusses, Bronzed Chorus, Naked Naps, Wailin Storms

When: Thu., July 16, 8:30 p.m. 2015
Price: $8
This sampler of regional rock bands should cover most tastes. Durham’s Wailin Storms bring the doom and gloom with foreboding bass and screams. Drum-and-guitar duo Naked Naps represent Raleigh with ramshackle pop-punk that’ll leave its hooks with you. Fans of long crescendos, electronic accents and glitchy rhythms will be pleased with The Bronzed Chorus’ post-rock. The night climaxes with Savannah’s Cusses. Leader Angel Bond channels Bikini Kill in her most aggressive, moments while Bryan Harder’s guitar recalls the grime and glamour of ’80s Los Angeles metal. —Justin Weber
