Crocodiles, Lilac Shadows, Shepherds, Dark Tunnels

When: Sun., Oct. 25, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $7
Of the bands associated with the late-2000s lo-fi revival, most have ceased to exist, a handful have blossomed into professional rock acts and a few have soldiered on aimlessly, still hiding barren ideas with fuzz. Brandon Welchez’s Crocodiles remain in that sad third column. They’ve been ripping off the Jesus and Mary Chain for half a decade now. The most notable thing about Welchez continues to be his marriage to Dee Dee Penny, the much sharper songwriter of Dum Dum Girls. —Jeff Klingman
