Re: “Cooper's Deal with Atlantic Coast Pipeline Developers Makes Strange Bedfellows of Environmentalists and the John Locke Foundation

This is a very sad time for people who live in the counties that will be impacted by the Atlantic Coastal Pipeline. Even the name of the Pipeline is a line. It doesn't go near the coast of the Atlantic. Cooper is actually putting the very county he grew up in at risk.

This is a horrible shame. After McCrory, (don't think for one minute McCrory wasn't owned by Duke Energy,) I thought Cooper would care more for the people than for Duke Energy. I was so wrong. Look into the people who are still living on bottled water due to Duke Energy's penny-pinching ways of dumping coal ash in unlined pits. Duke Energy doesn't give a damn about polluting our natural resources, and obviously neither do the politicians of North Carolina.

So horribly sad! I will be moving. I live in Wilson, NC. Nowhere near the proposed pipeline. I can not abide living in a place where the people have no say in so much and on things that impact their quality of life. What a terribly sad situation. The greatest internet, some of the greatest local politicians I have ever seen, a city that is superbly managed, AND NOW THIS! - OH NO!

I only hope that the local politicians in the City of Wilson or Wilson County put a stop to this BLOODY PIPELINE before any local lives are impacted by the toxins it will surely release.

Re: “Bread Uprising's revolutionary spirit

We need this in Wilson County too! What a shame that people find it so difficult to get together, work together & be healthy! Good Luck and much continued success!
