This event will feature chamber works by composers important to North Carolina including Composer Laureate, Hunter Johnson; the founder of both the North Carolina and Asheville Symphonies, Lamar Stringfield; and the former Chancellor of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Pulitzer Prize winning composer, Robert Ward. Event No 2 in the Philharmonic Association's “Celebrating North Carolina in our 350th Year” festival.
