Raleigh won't be close to being remotely bicycle friendly until it creates a safe way for cyclists living on the esst side of town (east of 440) to travel by bike to the inside of 440. The only options currently are a shoulderless and jam-packed Raleigh Blvd, and four lane, 45 mph New Bern Ave.
