I am a huge fan of Ethiopian and Eritrean food. It's great to have Abyssinia in Raleigh - no more driving all the way to Durham to go to the Blue Nile. While Abyssinia does not serve tej/mes, they do make their own cheese, which is something I have not encountered at many Ethiopian restaurants. The food is excellent, the injera tasty and the price is reasonable. Considering that it is right next to Mission Valley Cinema, it's a great place to eat before a movie. There's live African music there frequently, too. Highly recommended!
