City of Lost Children

When: Fri., Nov. 4, 8 p.m. 2011

The next entry in NCMA's fall series of surrealist films is City of Lost Children, written and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro. A mad scientist loses his dreams but creates a machine that will suck the nightlife from children. Ron Perlman (Beauty and the Beast, Drive) stars in this French film with English subtitles and enters a maze of adventures. The screening will be introduced by Indy contributor Zack Smith, who is missing a Ray Harryhausen double feature to be here. Tickets are $5, or $3.50 for museum, Galaxy and Cinema, Inc. members. —Christina Cass
