Chatham County Line, Jeanne Jolly and Chris Boerner

When: Thu., Sept. 10, 6 p.m. 2015
Price: free
Closing out this year’s Back Porch Music on the Lawn series, this free show featuring local Americana institution Chatham County Line makes a more than worthy pick for those without Hopscotch passes. But arrive early and expect a crowd. Don’t be surprised to hear a new song or two, too, as this is CCL’s first gig since wrapping sessions at the Fidelitorium on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to last year’s Tightrope. Joined by fellow The Foreign Exchange collaborator Chris Boerner on guitar, Jeanne Jolly brings her own fresh material from another recent Fidelitorium production, the forthcoming A Place to Run. Lead single “Boundless Love” finds Jolly’s effortless blend of folk and soul in its finest form. —Spencer Griffith
