Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle

When: Sun., Oct. 12, 3 p.m. 2014
Price: $23.40
The Chamber Orchestra delivers a transatlantic program featuring Frederick Delius’s Florida Suite, written in 1887 after the British composer spent time managing an orange grove in the Sunshine State. There’s also Britten’s Serenade for tenor, French horn and strings, which sets poems by Tennyson, Blake, Jonson and Keats to music. The afternoon rounds out with a Dvořák scherzo. —Chris Vitiello
