The old style residential communities along the edge of the Yangtze River in Chongqing, China are quickly being updated by modern development. This photo and video installation by documentary artist John Rash explores the landscapes of "old Chongqing", a cluster of communities in the midst of change, and lifestyles as they are effected by impending development, disrupted traditions, and urban renewal in modern China.
