Re: “Young bluesman Slick Ballinger turns to the gospel; keeps promises to family

I have had to the extreme pleasure of seeing Daniel and booking him as well. The first time I saw him play to a very unsuspecting crowd, I thought about the first time people saw Elvis. This kid had so much pouring out of him it was a shock. Daniel has talent on his instrument that he unleashes on command. His vocals are from where deeper than most anyone goes. And then his body takes over and makes the delivery of both of those powers. I hope him the best of a future and a realization that Christians are in bars and honky tonks and that Jesus didn't stay to his own but was willing to reach out to where all souls would know the message. Preachin to the choir is so much easier than to the needy. It aint the devils music unless the devil is playin it.
