When: May 2-8, 8 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m. Continues through May 9 2010

Carolina Ballet's Robert Weiss choreographs this take on Sergei Prokofiev's 1935 classic. (The original version of the book, by Adrian Piotrovsky, notoriously gave the story a happy ending.)
