Buddy Cop 2

When: June 16-25 2011
Price: $12-17

Despite the title, this isn't quite the shoot-em-up ass-kicker you might think. Rather, Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen's small-scale play is an intimate number set in a small-town recreation center-turned-police station, where two cops spend the night with a variety of strange stories, oddball revelations and a bit of romantic tension. We hope there will be some gunplay—there just needs to be more of that in American theater. Kevin Ewert directs a cast featuring local stalwarts Dana Marks and Lucius Robinson. The show runs through June 25; tickets are $12 weeknights and $17 weekends, with tonight's 8:15 p.m. show a special pay-what-you-can preview (minimum $5).—Zack Smith
