Bronzed Chorus, Falcon Arrow

When: Wed., April 6, 9 p.m. 2011
Price: $5

Greensboro band the Bronzed Chorus has long promised a new EP, one showcasing drummer Hunter Allen's four-bit Atari sounds and guitar effects. While multitasking isn't a huge deviation—the instrumental duo's original drummer, Brennan O'Brien, pulled double duty on keys and kit—the new pieces jaunt into dancier territory than the post rock-meets-pop punk of the first two LPs. So where's that EP, fellers? Opening is the stylistically similar Falcon Arrow, a drums-and-bass duo from Minneapolis that plays like a stripped-down Maserati. Falcon Arrow also incorporates televisions that may or may not work into its set, which may or may not be awesome. —Corbie Hill
