Re: “The Vintage church in Raleigh attracts young college students, but does its anti-women stance collide with its public image?

Thank you for bringing up this topic for conversation! I have attended Vintage for 8 years and have slowly started losing hope in their values. As a woman, I have observed that women's voices do not seem to carry as much value there. I loved, loved, loved Pastor Tyler, but wish he could step back for a second and take an in-depth serious look at the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures on women and be more carefull on his stance with women as it is not a stance to just adopt from Acts 29, but needs to be thoroughly researched and vetted. ( ) Jesus consciously elevated women, not to roles, sexual objects or set characteristics but to an equal personhood with men.
