Breaking Benjamin, Young Guns, Starset

When: Fri., Aug. 21, 8 p.m. 2015
Price: $39.50
Hackneyed post-grunge unit movers Breaking Benjamin took a medical redshirt from 2010 to 2013 to allow frontman Benjamin Burnley to deal with some mysterious health issues. In the interim, his bandmates put together a greatest-hits package, which included the band’s then-seven mainstream rock Top 10 hits. Burnley fired them shortly thereafter, citing a disagreement over a remix. He assembled a new cadre of disaffected dudes for this year’s Dark Before Dawn, which yielded another chart-topper, “Failure.” Though Burnley’s surrounded by new players, his band’s still nigh indistinguishable from post-grunge’s litany of also-rans, including Godsmack and Three Days Grace. —Patrick Wall
