Borgore ruined dubstep, or so claims the title of one of the DJ's recent EPs. Borgore (aka Asaf Borger), a Tel Aviv-based producer, didn't set out to murder the genre, but with his noisy, hardcore take on dance music, it's easy to imagine why the haters might hate. Already a drummer in Israeli metal band Shabira, Borgore has spent the last two years hitting the decks with a primal sense of play. His tracks are a barrage of big drums, deep bass and dirty lyrics that would make you blush if you weren't so caught up in the music's pull. —Ashley Melzer
