Black Dog Syndrome, Individually Twisted, Carrie Marshall

When: Thu., July 28, 7 p.m. 2016
Black dog syndrome is the tendency of people to ignore black dogs for adoption, favoring lighter-colored canines. Black Dog Syndrome guitarist and vocalist Kirk Ridge makes a good argument for being left in the pen with his shockabilly original “She Drives with Her Knees,” sounding like Willie Nelson loaded on Ritalin and cough syrup. —Grant Britt
