Re: “The two faces of Bo Lozoff

My only experience with Mr. Lozoff was arranging for him to play his guitar and sing at Polk Correctional Institute. He put on a show the inmates enjoyed very much. Many of them also stated they were inspired by his book, We Are All Doing Time.
He also suggested that any inmate who was being released should make a blue shirt (like the ones worn by inmates) his first clothing purchase. That seemed like good advice.
His issues with anger and sexual abuse are sad but I think his other work justifies his passing through.
