Re: “Trig Modern flees downtown Raleigh

Slight correction: Gypsy Jule is in The L, not Lincoln, on McDowell St. Other new retailers included Unleashed, Briggs Hardware, and Port of Raleigh, as well as Holder Goods and Supply on South St. and Gather on Franklin St. Very sad to see Trig go and wish them all the best in their new location.

Re: “Does downtown Raleigh really need a new stadium?

Just a quick note: while I worked on the Downtown Plan, I was not primary author. My primary contributions and recommendations were in the retail section of the plan. An awful lot of people worked on that overall plan and deserve more credit, including Ken Bowers, Trisha Hasch and Grant Meacci.
