I was there too, and a bit disappointed on the organizers behalfs that they apparently got about 800 people, instead of the 1500 they'd planned for; the con didn't *quite* reach critical mass, socially -- at least for me; 800 people you fit inside the hotel.

That said, all the panels I attended this year were better than all the panels I attended last year at the *actual* Worldcon, in Montreal, except maybe one. Had a good time, observed the 5-2-1 rule (5 hours sleep, 2 meals, one shower), and only noted one person all weekend who apparently hadn't, so well worth the trip from Florida.
