Bay Bay's BBQ Back Benefit: So Far No Tomorrow, Skemata, Grohg, Datura

When: Sun., March 29, 2 p.m. 2015
Price: $10
This matinee show serves a few purposes: You can, for instance, buy a barbecue plate lunch, making your Sunday afternoon planning easy. And you can stick around for a strong, storming four-band bill that crisscrosses from the righteous punk fury of Raleigh’s Skemata and Wilmington’s No Tomorrow to the mechanical roar of Grogh and the thrash of the rather fresh Datura. But the biggest purpose comes with where the proceeds go, as this show is a benefit for veteran Tar Heel drummer Mike Scibetta. He’s paying for multiple back surgeries. Hard to lose here. —Grayson Haver Currin
