Battle for Brooklyn

When: Wed., Feb. 8, 6:30 p.m. 2012
Phone: 919-304-5000
Price: $10 suggested donation

The shocking corporate-greed documentary Battle for Brooklyn, co-directed by Chapel Hill native Michael Galinsky, was short-listed for an Oscar nomination this year. If you missed the movie's first screening last fall, here's another chance to witness the little guys trying to stick it to The Man and challenge the abuses of eminent domain plaguing the country. The screening benefits the filmmakers and stone circles; tickets are $10, but no one will be turned away. —Christina Cass
