Bandages, Dumpster Babies, Shake it Like a Caveman

When: Fri., April 29, 9 p.m. 2016
Price: $5
On January’s Lost and Found, Chicago’s Dumpster Babies filled thirteen tracks with brisk, easygoing rock that split the difference between crisp power pop and bratty garage-punk on songs like “Gimme What I Want.” But when the band stretches out on cuts like “Age of Apathy,” it injects loud-fast pop with unlikely nuances. Tennessee’s Shake It Like a Caveman, a one-man band fusing slinky blues riffs with garage grit, opens. —Bryan C. Reed
