Wow... Indy Week needs a stronger editorial process. The second, snide paragraph was enough to convey the general opinion of the article. The following FIFTEEN paragraphs are just petulant griping dressed up in wordy "foodie" speak.

The fact that the writer got away with such a hit piece conveys a lack of accountability and journalistic integrity among the hipster, naval-gazing Raleigh scene. This is only accentuated by the fact that a previous commenter scurried to apologize for a valid criticism of this piece because he recognized the identity of the author.

The Raleigh scene should never be taken seriously until its influencers get over their tendency to be a juvenile self admiration society. There is nothing wrong with a negative critique, but there is a difference between honest opinion and sneering criticism.
