Arthouse | CAM Raleigh | Arts | Indy Week
This is a past event.

When: Fri., May 10, 7 p.m. 2013
Price: $65-200

Has it been two years already? And has it been only two years? CAM Raleigh somehow seems to have both just opened and been around forever, which is a testament to its energetic role in the cultural revival of Raleigh's warehouse district. They deserve a big shebang, so they're throwing Arthouse—a silent art auction that benefits CAM Raleigh's programs and operations. Renaissance man Pierce Freelon will emcee the gig, which features live performance art, heady beverages by local mixologists and cuisine by local chef/wizards Ashley Christensen (Poole's Downtown Diner, Beasley's Chicken & Honey, Chuck's) and Scott Crawford (Herons at the Umstead Hotel & Spa). Garb is cocktail chic. —Chris Vitiello
