Whether or not their collection of Porsches turns you on, the North Carolina Museum of Art's programming around its current car exhibition should. The Museum Park lot along Blue Ridge Road transforms into a dazzling automotive fantasyland with a juried show of art cars ranging from curvy to bizarrely altered. With breakfast food trucks, live music, a play zone and health screenings, it's a family event for the Thanksgiving-weary. It's also a chance to see three of Raleigh's 12 art-covered CAT buses, featuring work by Jaime Andrews, Meredith Laxton and Anna Podris. Start your engines and go to the museum. —Chris Vitiello
