Aries Spears has been in the stand-up game since his teens, doing spots on Def Comedy Jam and taking meetings with network executives at a time when most kids are wondering who they're going to take to prom. Now, he's best known for his years on Mad TV, where he impersonated everyone from Jesse Jackson and Eddie Murphy to basically any rapper. (Whenever he played an out-of-it Bobby Brown, with Debra Wilson as a coked-out Whitney Houston, it was comic gold.) These days, Spears is still on the comic grind, reminding everyone that Key and Peele aren't the only African-American Mad TV alumni out there making people get their laugh on. —Craig D. Lindsey
