Andrew Kasab

When: Sun., Oct. 11, 3 p.m. 2015
Price: free
Andrew Kasab supplies progressive ruminations on American Primitive guitar, even when the Raleigh resident swaps a traditional acoustic for his Frankenstein-esque harp-guitar hybrid. Fans of Kottke or Keller should appreciate Kasab’s nimble fingerpicking and rhythmic, percussive playing, which blends folk with blues, classical, rock and world influences. This begins the 18th season of the Music of the Carolinas series. —Spencer Griffith
